This coin marks the beginning of the “Prince of Ukraine” series. On the obverse of the coin, framed by an interpreted ornament of the ancient Russian altar arch-amulet of the 12th century, which represented a model of the world among similar Slavs, there is an image of the small State coat of arms of Ukraine and stylized inscriptions There are several rows: UKRAINE, 10 HRYVEN, 1998 and the mark, the sample and the metal. On the reverse of the coin, on the back of the coin, there is a triplane composition, which is formed from the obvious image of Prince Kiy, depicting the figures of three brothers-archers and wives (Kyi, Shchek, Khoriv, their sister Libid) and fortification on the hill in the background.
