On the obverse of the coins there is an image of the small State coat of arms of Ukraine on a steppe landscape, which consists of several types of local flora and fauna. Above the coat of arms there is an inscription: UKRAINE and 1998. Under the images there is a denomination: 2 HRYVNI (two rows). On the reverse of the coins there is a composition that consists of an image of a steppe stone woman and a dynamic group of creatures acclimated to the reserve.
