Regardless of a catastrophe on a planetary scale, nature is reinventing itself here at a surprisingly fast pace. These majestic expanses have become a kind of reserve for the reproduction of typical for the Polissian region and rare red-book representatives of the created world. Here, the processes of the return of great creatures from the place of natural habitats are being guarded, where previously the stench was largely the fault of humans. One of these species is the storm witch, which, after hundreds of years of existence, appeared here again in the last ten years after the accident. Photographic pastes are constantly documenting the movement of animals on the territory of the reserve. According to the fakhivts, in the future on the territory of two reserves - Chornobyl and the adjacent Polish State Radiation-Ecological Reserve (Belarus) - about 40 bears can comfortably live. With this set of two commemorative coins, the National Bank of Ukraine intends to pay attention to the problem of saving the seas, highlight the responsibility of humanity for the protection of natural resources and emphasize the importance of marine life in formed ecosystem of Ukraine.
