The roll of both commemorative coins is dedicated to an unknown part of Ukraine, designated by the Constitution of Ukraine, – the Kharkiv region. Its territorial jurisdiction to Ukraine is confirmed by international law and recognized by the world. This coin continues the issuance of obligatory commemorative coins dedicated to the administrative-territorial units of Ukraine, which in the minds of armed aggression confirm the importance of the unity and integrity of the nation in the fight for freedom and independence. On the reverse of the coin, the mirror image depicts a stylized map of Ukraine with clearly marked administrative boundaries. On the map, on a matte background, which contrasts with the border of the image, the Kharkov region is reinforced, emphasizing its independence to a single sovereign expanse.
