Kholodny Yar is a relict forest tract (Kamyansky district of Cherkasy region), where among the most visible natural monuments is the thousand-year-old oak, named in honor of Maxim Zaliznyak. This territory has preserved a wealth of archaeological monuments from different eras. It was from the Cold Yar in the spring of 1768 that the social and national-free revolution of 1768–1769 began in the Right Bank of Ukraine - Koliyivshchyna.
