Українська республіканська капела під проводом видатного диригента Олександра Кошиця як культурний представник України з 1919 до 1924 року дала понад 600 концертів у світових музичних центрах. Перлиною репертуару хору був “Щедрик”, який 05 жовтня 1922 року прозвучав у найпрестижнішому залі Нью-Йорка – Карнеґі-холі. Згодом американський диригент українського походження Пітер Вільговський написав новий текст “Щедрика” та поклав мелодію на “мову” симфонічного оркестру. Так з’явилася “Колядка дзвонів” (Carol of the Bells), що стала однією з найпопулярніших різдвяних пісень у світі, мелодика якої нагадує передзвін. На аверсі монет із набору розміщено: унизу – рік карбування 20 / 23, малий Державний Герб України, напис УКРАЇНА, номінал 10 та графічний знак гривні, на двох монетах розміщено рядки з пісень “Щедрик” та “Колядка дзвонів” (Carol of the Bells) українською й англійською мовами; над написами: логотип Банкнотно-монетного двору Національного банку України, маса кожної монети в чистоті, позначення металу та його проби Ag 999 / 31,1; у центрі двох монет зображено збірні композиції янголів як символу чистоти і сили, Божої допомоги, захисту та світлого свята Різдва, над янголами розміщено написи ТРІУМФ “ЩЕДРИКА” та TRIUMPHANT CAROL OF THE BELLS; на центральній монеті зображено вертеп з різдвяною зіркою (елемент оздоблення – локальна позолота) – культурний феномен, що втілює глибокі історичні українські традиції. На реверсі двох монет зображено стилізовані прапори України і США (елемент оздоблення – тамподрук), композиції з історичних культових споруд Києва / Нью-Йорка (унизу) та золотисте мереживне тло з дзвониками, що символізує наповнення простору чарівними звуками мелодії колядки (елемент оздоблення – локальна позолота); на центральній монеті зображено стилізовану композицію виконання хором пісні під керуванням диригента, над хором – силует ластівки – головного персонажу твору; під композицією розміщено нотний стан із початковими нотами мелодії; написи: ПЕРШЕ ВИКОНАННЯ “ЩЕДРИКА” У КАРНЕҐІ-ХОЛІ ПІД ОРУДОЮ / ДИРИГЕНТА ОЛЕКСАНДРА КОШИЦЯ / 1922 (унизу).
