The Ukrainian Free University, having brought together a wealth of leading Ukrainian scientists of the twentieth century, became a scientific and educational institution for the Ukrainian diaspora, which did not want to waste its identity. Having changed three European places and having been transferred to the war in Munich, the University of Donetsk is deprived of the center of knowledge about Ukraine in Europe. We will serve as an intellectual bridge between Ukraine and the powers of the European Union, and as an important voice for Ukrainian studies in the German middle class. On the obverse of the medal on the mirror aphid is placed: eel - inscription UKRAINE, under the river of carbuvannia - 2021; small Sovereign Coat of Arms of Ukraine (left-handed on the back of a fragment of the ensign of Ukraine), fragment of the ensign of the European Union (right-handed); at the center there is a scheme for changing the location of the university at different time intervals and writing: VIDEN/1921/PRAGUE/1921/MUNICH/1945; On the bottom there is a laurel leaf on the matte background, under which is the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine. On the reverse of the medal, the logo of the university (eel) is placed on the mirror aphid; in the center - stylized images of the bridge as a symbol that unites different sides, peoples, regions, etc.; inscriptions: 100/ROKIV (under the bridge), UKRAINIAN VILLAGE UNIVERSITY (below the college).
